For the First Time, China Invests More in Wind and Solar Than Coal Overseas 27/5/2025
(Inside Climate News) - China’s Belt and Road Initiative, long derided for its heavy carbon footprint, was dominated by wind and solar power projects for the first time from 2022 to 2023, according to a new analysis. But coal plants financed in earlier years are still coming online.
