Synopsis
The Earth's and children's colours are fading. Come and learn how to care for our planet and help the colours return to both the Earth and children.
This book aims to raise children's awareness of how they can protect the environment. Through a simple story and engaging activities, children will discover how small actions can make a big difference in caring for our planet. This story was originally written as a musical by Yasemin Allsop and performed by primary school students from London and Paris. Later, she adapted it into an animation with her children, winning the '1 Minute to Save the World' competition in 2011. Although Yasemin dreamed of publishing it as a book, finding an illustrator proved challenging. Determined, she taught herself to draw, finally allowing her to share this story with children worldwide. This is her first picture book; she is also the author of the Alya the Pathmaker book series. The book includes a story, and activities designed to expand children's thinking.
