(Sharjah24) - Iraq has embarked on planting 7,000 mangrove trees around the Grand Faw Port in oil-rich southern Basra province in a bid to reduce soil erosion and provide a better environment for marine life and migratory birds.
The project aims to reduce soil erosion, control rising temperatures and provide a better environment for marine life and migratory birds.
