(Gulf News) - The UAE aims to cut food loss and waste by 50 per cent by 2030 with the introduction of the “Ne’ma Food Loss and Waste Reduction Roadmap”.
Mariam bint Mohammed Almheiri, the Minister of Climate Change and the Environment, unveiled the plan at the fourth National Dialogue on Food Security. The initiative, organised by the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment in collaboration with Ne’ma, the National Food Loss and Waste Initiative, is themed ‘Call for Change: Reducing Food Loss and Waste in the UAE.’
