Video: Impala escapes cheetah by jumping into tourists' car 12/7/2013
An impala chased by two hungry cheetahs at the Kruger National Park in South Africa made good his escape by jumping into a car full of tourists through the window.

The animal appeared to have been cornered on two sides when it saved itself from death by using a human technological facility to his advantage.

A tourist named Samantha Pittendrigh, 20, was filming cheetahs chasing a group of leaping impalas streaking across the road when the amazing incident happened.

The tourists had rolled down the windows of their car to film the scenes around them when the impala jumped in.

The passengers then opened the door and the impala jumped out. The video shows the cheetahs standing only a few yards away staring in awe at the impala as he crosses the road to safety. They seemed so impressed with the animal's stunt that they did not give chase.

The circumstances make one wonder what would have happened had the hungry cheetah jumped after the impala into the car.
