Abu Dhabi clean-up teams remove waste in Baniyas and Al Wathba 3/8/2016
The Abu Dhabi City Municipality has teamed up with Baniyas Police Station in an effort to clean up the Baniyas and Al Wathba areas.

Local waste management centres and demolition teams aided in the removal of debris and waste from the western area of Baniyas, Al Wathba’s municipal centre and south, and South New Al Wathba.

The clean-up initiative was undertaken with the aim of improving the aesthetics of the neighbourhoods, as well as raising public awareness of the importance of keeping Abu Dhabi clean.

Reminding residents of the laws and offences pertaining to public health and the appearance of public areas was also one of the project’s key goals.
