Greenpeace yesterday celebrated World Environment Day in New Delhi, India, in a different way. Hundreds of cyclists flooded main squares of the city, under the slogan: “Switch on the sun’. This was a clear message on the need to reduce carbon emissions, by cutting the use of cars for transport and switching to cleaner and renewable sources of energy.
