Academia Management Solutions International (AMSI) has announced its plans to go green by promoting the use of smart devices and technologically advance platforms across its schools. This effort is in line with the initiative launched by HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum to transition the United Arab Emirates into one of the leading green economies globally, and reduce carbon emissions in all sectors including the education segment.
The students, and parents, of International School of Arts and Sciences (ISAS), will no longer receive printouts of the weekly studies and school circulars. Instead, they will be able to view the details on the school website as well as receive digital versions of circulars on the registered email address. AMSI also plans to roll out digital quizzes and assignments in an effort towards going green.
Chief Executive Officer at AMSI, Mr. Adonis Nasr said, "Keeping in line with the vision and mission of schools under AMSI at Al Mawakeb and ISAS, our approach to learning and increasing environmental awareness is in alignment with the initiative launched by His Highness. We actively engage our students and enhance their awareness through various creative activities outside the classroom, such as participation at the Arab Forum for Environmental Development - AFED conferences and workshops. We believe that we must continue to dynamically and responsibly mold the mindset and behavior of the next generation on issues like global warming, climate change, renewable resources, sustainable energy and similar headlines that are on leaders' agendas."
Active in the region for more than 35 years, AMSI is dedicated to improving the learning experience of students, and prepare for the real world, through its enhanced education system.
