Jeddah Municipality added another prestigious award to its list of achievements by winning CSR initiative of the Year by the Arab Organization for Social Responsibility at the inaugural environmental awards 2014.

 

It was awarded in recognition of the non-profit organization’s commitment to sustainability and for its efforts to landscaping in the parks and the corniche and continuous development of preserving the environment.

 

The Arab Environmental Initiatives Award was held under the auspices and presence of Dr. Rashid Ahmed Mohammed Bin Fahad, Minister of Environment and Water, UAE.

 

The award was received by Mohmmed Al Yami, director of CSR Department at Jeddah Municipality. Commenting on the award, Al Yami said “we are truly honored to be recognized for best environmental practices by the Arab Organization for Social Responsibility. At Jeddah Municipality we are committed to providing quality leisure and recreational facilities.”
