Greener environment lead to happier, healthier people 14/1/2014
As per University of Exeter Medical School scientists, a greener environment can keep individuals more satisfied for a longer period decreasing the danger of advancing mental issue.
 
Mental health issues have been a developing concern in the course of the most recent years. The amount of individuals experiencing mental health issues has expanded definitely and consistent with University of Exeter Medical School scientists, urbanization has a significant part to play in this, reports stated.
 
More than 80 percent of the planet's populace exists in urban territories that are concretized and have consumed up green, open spaces.
 
Though past studies have joined a greener environment to more satisfied individuals, this is the first study to research how such an environment affects an individual's well being over the long run.
 
"We've indicated that people who move to greener territories have critical and enduring upgrades in mental health," explained lead researcher, Dr Ian Alcock.
 
To track this advancement, analysts had more than hundred individuals living in the United Kingdom migrate from a light black urban setting to a greener one and the other way around.
 
All members' mental health status was checked habitually throughout the three-year study. Analysts noted that all members who migrated from an ash urban setting to a greener one were more satisfied in the three years of the study than the members who went from a greener environment to a greyer one.
